Amitabh Bachchan has the biggest brand value league ahead of Shahrukh Khan & Ranbir Kapoor..

As per the latest news in Indian Express revealed that Amitabh Bachchan is the biggest brand in Bollywood today. He  might as well reclaim the title of  the One-Man Industry with him topping the Screen Survey as an actor with the biggest brand value in Bollywood.
He was also top in the list for the Screen Annual Survey 2012 on the biggest legend of all times, Amitabh Bachchan tops the Screen Annual Survey 2013 yet again.

Thirty seven per cent believe that he is the biggest brand in Bollywood today. Leagues ahead of the current crop of actors, which include Shah Rukh Khan (14 per cent), who propelled the brand wave in the nineties to the new-age turk Ranbir Kapoor (8 per cent). Interestingly, a quality associated with the legend is 'Humility' — the only actor with that distinction on the survey.
As an individual though, the actor, who's been showered with many monikers to his credit include the Angry Young Man, the One-Man Industry, Shahenshah and Big B, continues to loom large over the world of Indian cinema and entertainment at 71.

In the 40-odd years of his life as an entertainer, he's done it all —films, television hosting, stage-shows, music, dance, voice overs and he also holds fort in cyberspace. In the past one year, he's added more feathers to his cap with being the first Indian actor to carry the Olympic torch during the last leg of its relay in London's Southwark and a cameo debut in Hollywood as a non-Indian Jew in Baz Luhrman's The Great Gatsby.

Ask what makes Bachchan special during the survey, and qualities like Talented (18 %t), Excellent at his craft (12 %), Intelligence (11 %), Hard working (8 %) and Versatile (6 %) were attributed to him. Bachchan seems to also fulfill all the criteria listed in the survey to be the biggest brand — presence on social networking sites and appreciation in Hollywood and international forums. There's no dearth on the latter, which got triggered off in 1999, where Bachchan was awarded 'the greatest star of stage or screen' of the millennium in a BBC online poll followed by the installation of his wax statue in the prestigious Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum making him the first living Asian to be featured there. It's no wonder that 41 per cent believe that there's no better brand ambassador than Big B for Indian cinema on a global platform.

Don't ever for a moment think that the actor intends to put a full stop to an illustrious career. There's more up his sleeve — acting in a fiction serial on television is just another beginning.

Ramleela : Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movie, will create the magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas & Black ?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known for his Big budget film, expensive sets for shooting & costly costume of traditional Indian dressing, was away from the Big screen quite sometime after the disaster of Guzarish. (The movie was a big flop but had gained critically acclaimed & won many awards in all the big awards of the country)

Sanjay Leela Bhansali again in News for his most awaited movie “RAMLEELA”. He again created the magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam & Devdas as per the movie’s first look. The trailor can be viwed on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StphRCLkx6Q

The trailer has already been aired & Sanjay Leela Bhansali had again put his creation with colour, passion, music & drama. It stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the leads. The film is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's epic love story Romeo & Juliet, set in violent times.

The film will be released on 15 November 2013. The cast of the movie is Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Richa Chadda, Gulshan Devaiah, Abhimanu Shekhar Singh, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Sharad Kelkar, Supriya Pathak, & Priyanka Chopra (As per news may be doing special appearance in a song).

The movie has been shot in Mumbai & Udaipur at Udaipur palace & Gangaur Ghat (where Ranveer singh had a Song Sequence in freezing cold water for about 45 minutes) This movie is said to be a Musical Drama. The first look of the trailer has wowed not only to audience but many known personality of Bollywood industry. The trailer of the movie already created the Buzz in Bollywood town & gaining praises are all around. Amitabh Bachan posted about the trailer on a social networking site & wrote, “Saw trailer of Ram Leela…..stunning! The colours, the passion, the Deepika….!!”

Farha Khan also praising the trailor & said “The trailer is fabulous. Deepika looks fantastic; the chemistry between her and Ranveer looks good. The film seems to bring back the memories of Sanjay's previous films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. It looks very happy and colourful.” Of course this made Sanjay Leela Bhansali happy with the reception of trailor by all.

Recntly some controversy has been heard about the movie as : A public interest litigation (PIL) was filed before the Allahabad High Court’s Lucknow bench Wednesday for a ban on Bollywood film Ramleela, releasing November 15, if its makers did not change its name. In her petition, social activist Nutan Thakur said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film has been given the name Ramleela while it has nothing to do with this pious Hindu religious event.

Instead, the petitioner says, the film calls itself Ramleela of bullets and that the official trailer of the film shows abusive language and intimate scenes between film actors Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone, which are far away from the religious connotations the word Ramleela carries.

“The use of the word Ramleela is hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus and hence either the film’s name should be changed or the film be banned,” said Thakur.
In Jaipur, a court Saturday directed police to register a case against Bhansali, Singh, Padukone and others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of people in Ramleela, a lawyer said. The orders came on a complaint filed by lawyer Pawan Sharma.

Clashes of Bollywood:
As per one of the newspaper “The most talked about musical dramas are now set to clash. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela' was set to enjoy a solo release in the coming festive season, however now Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Rajjo' is too releasing on the same date.

The release date of a film is a matter of importance and thought about at stretch. 15th November was decided as the release date for 'Rajjo', after a lot of brain storming. 'Rajjo' would incidentally be arriving just 12 days after the release of 'Krrish 3' (3rd November) in which Kangna would be seen kicking butt.

With so much effort put in to make delightful film the "Director of
Rajjo Vishwas Patil says, "I was waiting for an apt time to bring the film. Even though the main character Kangna (or Rajjo) plays a Mujrawali in the film, it isn't somber or depressing by any means."

We will also get a chance to see two stunning actresses Kangna & Deepika playing title roles in their respective films, with such talent and glamour a clash in the offering would be inevitable.”

So Guys just wait & watch whether Sanjay Leela Bhansali fulfill the expectation of audaince & again create the same magic which created previously with its passionate direction ? Will Rajjo can compete with the Ramleela or create a different audiance of interest ?

Lastly Ranveer Singh must be having a great expectation with this movie & this movie can make a lot of difference to his career if this movie also come in the list of a typical Bhansali Film. For Deepika Padukone it seems one more great performance hidden in this movie which will delight to her fans.
So wait until 15th Novemeber…….

Ramleela has to be dubbed again to avoint contraversy:

Bhansali has called his Ram Leela actors to the recording studios for the second time.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali much awaited Ram Leela was met with protests by the Rajput community.

To avoid trouble, the filmmaker is now taking necessary steps to ensure a smooth release.

The film revolves around the romance between a Jadeja girl (Deepika Padukone) and a Rabari boy (Ranveer Singh) with the two communities depicted as warring clans.

The Rajput Samaj of Ahmedabad had threatened to file a petition against the movie in the Gujarat High Court over the movie's alleged "attempt to misinterpret the history of Rajput and Rabari communities".

Though initially Bhansali did not respond when the protests erupted, with the organisation threatening to stall the release of the film in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and other states where the Rajput community resides, the director has now taken evasive action to salvage his much hyped project.

Bhansali has decided to remove all references to Jadejas and Rabaris from the film and the filmmaker and the film's cast are now back in the dubbing studio.

A source close to Bhansali confirmed the news to Mirror, saying, "The trailer has been well accepted and he did not want to complicate the film's release. Better be safe than sorry as at the end of the day it's an expensive film which has been made with a lot of hard work and passion. Though it is a tough task, it has to be done." The source added that it will be a 9-10 day long exercise as the film is peppered with such references.

"Dialogues by almost all the main characters will need to be redubbed as the name of Jadejas and Rabaris has been used umpteen times. The dubbing will happen at Sunny Super Sound Studio in Juhu and the cast has been summoned, some even from outdoor shoots.

"The Good Road" First ever Gujarati Movie selected as The Indian entry for the Best Foreign Film at 86th Academy awards

This will be surprise for many as Movies like "Lunchbox", "Bhag Milka Bhag", "English Vinglish", Malyalam film "Celluloid" & Kamal Hassan film "Vishwaroopam" were the one of strong contenders for Best Foreign film at 86th Academy awards. But the selection committee praised the hard work done by Gyan Correa The Debut Director of the movie The Good Road. The film also won the award for Best Gujarati film at the 60th National Film awards.

This must be shocked for Karan Johar who was also supporting the film "Lunchbox" saying "All kinds of audience can connect with it and yet within the parameters of love story it is completely unusual. You feel all the love in the world for the protagonists and the unusual aspect of it is they haven't met."

The Movie "The Good Road" is the story of a boy who is lost and then found while his family is on a holiday trip to Kutch. The film is related to highway where three different stories come across each other. The film has been shooted at Kutch in Gujarat. Starcast of the film are Ajay Gehi, Keval Katrodiya, Shamji Dhana Kerasia, Sonali Kulkarni, Poonam Kesar Singh & Priyank Upadhyay.

The selection of movie to Academy awards made The Chief Minister Narendra Modi a reason to proud as Gujarati Movie has gotten recognition like never before.

The selection of The Good Road make some people happy & some people really sad just like Karan Johar disappointment, Director & Film Maker Anurag Kashyap too expressed his sadness on Twitter. "Feeling very very disappointed, can't comment on the film I have not seen, but it better make it to final five," he tweeted.

He further tweeted, "We should then make a clean policy, you want to send the best film, then send the national award winner.or send the one most likely to win."

Being a Experience filmmaker & knowing so much about making films. Films personality like Karan Johar & Anurag Kashyap instead of showing disappointment they should have encouraged the film making by supporting the selection committee decision. Though its their personal comment but it will make a impact on small film maker who is on learning stage & doing exceptionally good job. I think they forgot the way they had travel to reach at this position.

Concluding the Fact Film making is not an easy job whether its a small budget or big budget, lots of efforts people put into it to make a film a better film & after making a better film if it raising the praises all around, one should see the positive side of it instead of disappointment.

So Cheers & All the Good Luck for "The Good Road" as long way to go ahead.

Now here i am adding another protest for the movie The Good Road""..

This time Several Gujarati filmmakers including Abhilash Ghoda, Deepak Antani and writer-lyricist Vinay Dave aren't happy with the selection of The Good Road as India's official entry for Oscars because of the concept of the film.

Abhilash Ghoda told Hindustantimes.com, "The Good Road was released silently, without any publicity in a single show to qualify for Oscar, after 18 months of its official release. We are sensing something dicey is being cooked. After 'Slum Dog Millionaire" Once again a wrong image of India and specially Gujarat and Kutch is being presented  to the world, with a clear cut objective of spoiling Gujarat's name."

The filmmaker further added, "The controversial film (The Good Road) made out of NFDC's huge budget, receives National Award first and then immediately, it is announced for Oscar nomination, with definite and deliberate malafied intentions. (sic)"
The Good Road shows child prostitution in the interiors of Kutch and stars Ajay Gehi, Sonali Kulkarni, Keval Katrodia, Shamji Dhana Kerasia among many others.
Gujarati film writer Vinay Dave posted on Facebook, "On 24/09/13, those who are associated with Gujarati film industry, protested against the nomination (of) Gujarati film "THE GOOD ROAD" for OSCARS," along with a few pictures of the protest.
The Gujarati filmmaker also plans to take the protest to Delhi and Mumbai, his posts on the social networking site suggested.
Now let's see what will be the consequence this movie has to face going forward.....
