Ramleela : Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movie, will create the magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas & Black ?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is known for his Big budget film, expensive sets for shooting & costly costume of traditional Indian dressing, was away from the Big screen quite sometime after the disaster of Guzarish. (The movie was a big flop but had gained critically acclaimed & won many awards in all the big awards of the country)

Sanjay Leela Bhansali again in News for his most awaited movie “RAMLEELA”. He again created the magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam & Devdas as per the movie’s first look. The trailor can be viwed on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StphRCLkx6Q

The trailer has already been aired & Sanjay Leela Bhansali had again put his creation with colour, passion, music & drama. It stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the leads. The film is said to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's epic love story Romeo & Juliet, set in violent times.

The film will be released on 15 November 2013. The cast of the movie is Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Richa Chadda, Gulshan Devaiah, Abhimanu Shekhar Singh, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Sharad Kelkar, Supriya Pathak, & Priyanka Chopra (As per news may be doing special appearance in a song).

The movie has been shot in Mumbai & Udaipur at Udaipur palace & Gangaur Ghat (where Ranveer singh had a Song Sequence in freezing cold water for about 45 minutes) This movie is said to be a Musical Drama. The first look of the trailer has wowed not only to audience but many known personality of Bollywood industry. The trailer of the movie already created the Buzz in Bollywood town & gaining praises are all around. Amitabh Bachan posted about the trailer on a social networking site & wrote, “Saw trailer of Ram Leela…..stunning! The colours, the passion, the Deepika….!!”

Farha Khan also praising the trailor & said “The trailer is fabulous. Deepika looks fantastic; the chemistry between her and Ranveer looks good. The film seems to bring back the memories of Sanjay's previous films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas. It looks very happy and colourful.” Of course this made Sanjay Leela Bhansali happy with the reception of trailor by all.

Recntly some controversy has been heard about the movie as : A public interest litigation (PIL) was filed before the Allahabad High Court’s Lucknow bench Wednesday for a ban on Bollywood film Ramleela, releasing November 15, if its makers did not change its name. In her petition, social activist Nutan Thakur said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film has been given the name Ramleela while it has nothing to do with this pious Hindu religious event.

Instead, the petitioner says, the film calls itself Ramleela of bullets and that the official trailer of the film shows abusive language and intimate scenes between film actors Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone, which are far away from the religious connotations the word Ramleela carries.

“The use of the word Ramleela is hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus and hence either the film’s name should be changed or the film be banned,” said Thakur.
In Jaipur, a court Saturday directed police to register a case against Bhansali, Singh, Padukone and others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of people in Ramleela, a lawyer said. The orders came on a complaint filed by lawyer Pawan Sharma.

Clashes of Bollywood:
As per one of the newspaper “The most talked about musical dramas are now set to clash. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela' was set to enjoy a solo release in the coming festive season, however now Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Rajjo' is too releasing on the same date.

The release date of a film is a matter of importance and thought about at stretch. 15th November was decided as the release date for 'Rajjo', after a lot of brain storming. 'Rajjo' would incidentally be arriving just 12 days after the release of 'Krrish 3' (3rd November) in which Kangna would be seen kicking butt.

With so much effort put in to make delightful film the "Director of
Rajjo Vishwas Patil says, "I was waiting for an apt time to bring the film. Even though the main character Kangna (or Rajjo) plays a Mujrawali in the film, it isn't somber or depressing by any means."

We will also get a chance to see two stunning actresses Kangna & Deepika playing title roles in their respective films, with such talent and glamour a clash in the offering would be inevitable.”

So Guys just wait & watch whether Sanjay Leela Bhansali fulfill the expectation of audaince & again create the same magic which created previously with its passionate direction ? Will Rajjo can compete with the Ramleela or create a different audiance of interest ?

Lastly Ranveer Singh must be having a great expectation with this movie & this movie can make a lot of difference to his career if this movie also come in the list of a typical Bhansali Film. For Deepika Padukone it seems one more great performance hidden in this movie which will delight to her fans.
So wait until 15th Novemeber…….

Ramleela has to be dubbed again to avoint contraversy:

Bhansali has called his Ram Leela actors to the recording studios for the second time.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali much awaited Ram Leela was met with protests by the Rajput community.

To avoid trouble, the filmmaker is now taking necessary steps to ensure a smooth release.

The film revolves around the romance between a Jadeja girl (Deepika Padukone) and a Rabari boy (Ranveer Singh) with the two communities depicted as warring clans.

The Rajput Samaj of Ahmedabad had threatened to file a petition against the movie in the Gujarat High Court over the movie's alleged "attempt to misinterpret the history of Rajput and Rabari communities".

Though initially Bhansali did not respond when the protests erupted, with the organisation threatening to stall the release of the film in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and other states where the Rajput community resides, the director has now taken evasive action to salvage his much hyped project.

Bhansali has decided to remove all references to Jadejas and Rabaris from the film and the filmmaker and the film's cast are now back in the dubbing studio.

A source close to Bhansali confirmed the news to Mirror, saying, "The trailer has been well accepted and he did not want to complicate the film's release. Better be safe than sorry as at the end of the day it's an expensive film which has been made with a lot of hard work and passion. Though it is a tough task, it has to be done." The source added that it will be a 9-10 day long exercise as the film is peppered with such references.

"Dialogues by almost all the main characters will need to be redubbed as the name of Jadejas and Rabaris has been used umpteen times. The dubbing will happen at Sunny Super Sound Studio in Juhu and the cast has been summoned, some even from outdoor shoots.
